You can register online through our events page or you can stop in the store during open hours and sign up in person.
Due to space and supply needs, please, no walk-ins for events. (Although we may be able to accommodate a last minute registration if you call!)
Due to space limitations, please no guests or observers.
We recommended showing up 5-10 minutes ahead of start time.
Due to supplies and preparation, no refunds are given for reservations. However, we can reschedule you to an upcoming class if you contact us in advance. No-shows will forfeit their registration payment.
We do not offer refunds on private events or online workshops.
Absolutely! Lots of people sign up and attend classes individually. At Paint Rinse Repeat our setup is intentionally small. Don't worry about showing up solo, we all get to know each other rather quickly here! You don't have to worry about being lost in the crowd or awkwardly left out.
Our art studio and painting sessions are designed with adults in mind. Most classes are appropriate for ages 13 and up.
While my public events are designed for adults and teens, private events can be set up for any age.
We provide everything you'll need for your complete painting! You are welcome to bring any snacks, appetizers, or drinks with you (including beer or wine). We are part of the Harrison DORA district and you can stop by one of our neighbors and bring a drink with you to the studio in your DORA cup!
While we don't have a bar onsite, we do allow you to bring in beer and wine. We are part of the Harrison DORA, and you may visit one of our friendly neighbors and bring in your DORA drink!
Only painter's age 21 and up may consume alcohol on the premises.
While some of our customers enjoy an adult beverage while painting, there are also many who come just for the art event. Water is always provided.
That's completely okay! We are all in different stages of our creative journey. We walk through each step together and difficult designs are often pre-traced for you. As Bob Ross says, there are no mistakes, only happy little accidents! You will be amazed at what you can create!
Wear whatever you are comfortable in! While we have no specific dress code, please keep in mind that when acrylic paint dries it becomes permanent. We do provide aprons for those who want to wear them. We cannot be responsible for any damaged clothing. The most common "oopsies" happen on long sleeves.
The length of the class will depend on the design we are working on and the skill level of the painters. Most paintings take about 2 hours but it may be slightly shorter or longer depending on the needs of the individual participants.
We have street parking directly in front of our building. There is a public lot located across the street with a crosswalk available. We also have parking in the back of our building and a safely lit walk way that gives access to the front of the store (parking lot access from Walnut Street). Although parking is typically not an issue, please give yourself extra time to find parking if there is a special event going on in The District. Parking is free.
In the rare event that we must close for weather, the class will be rescheduled. We will contact you in advance and you will have the option of attending the new date, another class, or receiving a refund.
If class is not cancelled due to weather, please reference our refund policy.
